Serving Families in Ukraine This Summer
We’re Going Back
Last summer, our family served at a family camp with Hosanna Church, our home church when I (Chris) was a missionary in Ukraine.
Simply put, we fell in love with the families at camp. At our last session, Ukrainian after Ukrainian stood up and told us, “You don't know how much this camp meant for our family. Thank you!”
That’s why, when we were invited back, we didn't hesitate. Our answer was “Absolutely!”
About the Camp
Every family in Ukraine is affected by the war. Air raid sirens at 3:00 AM. Losing heat in winter. A father far away from his wife and kids, fighting on the front lines
The camp gives these families an opportunity to rest and remember: God is working in the midst of hardship.
It's also an outreach to women connected to Hosanna's pro-life and recovery ministries.
I'll help lead a VBS-style program for kids, and Vira will take photos and videos. Maggie will have fun and eat candy.
